I'm energized by the challenge of solving thorny problems, and bringing brands to life at the intersection of people, business, and culture. I exist in a perpetual mode of chasing down curiosities, learning, and finding ways to generate value. Because I believe no one cares about brands as much as we (marketers) do, I relish the challenge of finding ways for brands to be interesting and culturally relevant. Passionate about social impact, I seek ways to translate brand values to brand action, do right by the consumer, and create inclusive experiences.
The work I do:
Branding: Creating brands from scratch, or putting existing ones into the “rock tumbler” of a rebrand process. I work to define a brand's place in the world, how it looks, feels, and sounds, plus a strategy for how to win.
Research & Planning: I like to get deep into the worlds of different subcultures, ask “why?,” learn about people, ask interesting questions, and keep tabs on the competition. I love imagining what the future will be like and how changes in technology, culture, and society will create new opportunities for brands.
Campaigns: Making sure we’re solving for the right thing, building off of a compelling insight, developing creative concepts, creating communications strategies.
Digital Strategy: Clarifying the role of a website, how to structure it for both users and business needs, organizing content, and optimizing for user experience.
Marketing: Creating marketing plans, leading SEO strategy, content strategy, social strategy, and executing on the needs of each.
